for about 4-5 hours

Lovely bride Daeng loves our Banana Coconut bread, and requested that her cake be made out of it. That could work. . .

Ae got to bake her first wedding cake!!

Ae, Mary and Rebecca have never seen a flower made out of sugar, and yet they made all of these lovely roses their first try- in about 2 hours!

Oh, and also- there's this part at the end where you walk into the wedding and a crazy aunt is running around slapping everyone with Johnson's Baby Powder. Everywhere. . .

I think that would be a pretty awesome show. I'd watch it.

Signs and Wonders

Some awesome things I've seen around Chiang Mai lately:

Baking it to the Streets

It's funny the people you meet selling cupcakes in the red light district of Chiang Mai.

I overheard one happy customer with a mouthful of frosting say "I can now go to bed satisfied."

Of my interpretation of the Starbucks classic Maple Nut scone- "Do you mean it? Like a May Pole?" Oh the Brits. Brilliant.

Homemade Oreo Stars. A couple of French guys told me they'd buy all the cookies from me if I went out dancing with them. Then they proceeded to do the robot. In the middle of the street.

An Aussie bought a Cranberry Almond Scone. It was his birthday. Birthday. . ..scone? Sad. Maybe that's why he left Australia. Good on ya, mate.

My favorite British Kindergarten teacher hobbled by today, holding his side from food poisoning pain(note: never eat chicken that's been in the 107 degree heat for 6 hours or more) He still bought banana bread for the morning: "I want this to be the first thing I eat!"
